Hi! Seb here. Maybe i’m gonna do like those internet hipsters and try to put more stuff on here when i actually have something to say. I’m not saying i’ll open up about everything that’s going in my mind, but if i ever need more than 140 characters to express something, i’ll do it here!
The collaboration of Simple Plan guitarist Sebastien Lefebvre with singer/songwriter Katie Rox should come as no surprise to hardcore fans – we heard them together already on the track “Catch Me” last year, and now we will have a chance to hear a whole EP of their music!

Simple Plan will be participating in the Five-City Olympic Celebration at the Olympic Plaza in Calgary in February. If you live in Calgary, it’s a free event so get there early!
Each free event will feature live performances from some of Canada’s top musical acts, interactive Olympic- and Paralympic-themed sport zones, cultural pavilions, hospitality zones, and large video screens for the 2010 Winter Games.
Sebastien’s album “You Are Here/Vous Etes Ici” has been nominated for Best Canadian Album, while his first video “I Fall For You” has been nominated for Best Video – both for Chart Attack’s Year End Reader’s Poll.
Musicians can be an adventurous, restless bunch. When it comes to downtime, many musicians either go stir crazy or resort to making more music outside of their regular gig. The latter is certainly the case for Simple Plan’s Sebastien Lefebvre, who recently released his debut solo CD, You Are Here.
From Simple Plan to a simple band, Sébastien Lefebvre, lead guitarist of the five piece act from Montreal, may be releasing a solo album, but he says he’s not planning on leaving his fellow bandmates any time soon. Au contraire, at the same time his new album You Are Here/Vous Êtes Ici is dropping, the band is in the midst of writing songs for an upcoming album. As for his solo project, Lefebvre casually says that the reasoning behind the album is that “[he] had a lot of songs and [he] just wanted to put them out there.”
